Join now as a founding member, and write with us for free until 4 January 2027. No payment today, nothing owed for the rest of the year. When the free period ends, you carry on at the rate below, or step away with no strings if it's not for you.
Monthly: £17.50. Pay as you go, cancel whenever you like.
Annual: £175 a year. Get two months free compared to paying monthly (for those who know they're in for the long haul).
Either way, you start free. The first payment only comes round in January 2027, and you choose then how you'd like to continue.

A home for your creativity
Writing is one of the most rewarding things we can do, as well as one of the easiest to let slide. The Creative Writing Club is curated to help you keep flexing your creative muscles and stay inspired to write.
Every week you’ll receive a prompt and a short journal note to get you writing, and there's a private community of writers alongside you the rest of the time, swapping reading recommendations, sharing work, and giving each other honest, generous feedback.
We’ll come together for online writing sessions through the year, and during regular office hours where you’ll be able to access writer and creative facilitator Liam Marshall to answer whatever you want to ask.
Whether you've got a project on the go, an idea you keep saying you’ll get started with, or are just looking for the support and accountability to develop a new creative practice, you’ll find yourself in good company here.

It's for anyone who wants writing to be a bigger part of their life. You might have a project on the go, one you keep meaning to get back to, or just the urge to write more and to be in good company while you do. You don't need to be published or experienced, just willing to give it a go.

Everything happens online, so you can be part of this community wherever you are.
Each week, Liam will share a new prompt and journal note to get you writing, and you’ll also be able to join quarterly virtual online workshops.
The community also includes a space for you to share your work and get feedback, as well as a private WhatsApp community where you can engage with other members in real time.
Other elements of the community include book recommendations, office hours to learn directly from Liam, and plenty of other creative inspiration.

Not at all. Whether you're deep into a novel or finding your way back to writing after years away, you'll fit right in. The one thing everyone here shares is that they love to write and want to keep at it.

When the free period ends, your membership will automatically renew at £17.50 a month, unless you decide to cancel before January 4th 2027.
You’ll also have the option to switch to an annual plan at £175 for the year, which works out to two months free vs a monthly plan.
You choose which suits you closer to the time, and you're free to step away if it's not for you.

As much or as little as you like.
Some members will write to every prompt and may be active in the community most days; others dip in when life allows.
There's no right or wrong way to engage, and certainly no pressure to keep up. Only an open invitation to join in whenever it suits you, and a space to show up when you’re ready.

Yes. There's no lock-in and no awkward hoops. If the day comes when it's no longer for you, you can leave whenever you like.
