The Writer’s Lens:
1:1 Content Support
See your content in a different light.
Standalone sessions that apply a writer’s perspective for clearer, more distinctive content and marketing strategy.
Bringing your words into focus
When you’re too close to your own content, it can be hard to see what’s working (and what’s not). Ideas blur, messages overlap, and the bigger picture slips out of view.
The Writer’s Lens is a standalone session designed to bring that picture back into focus.
Together, we’ll look at your ideas from a writer’s perspective - breaking them apart, spotting new angles, and identifying the stories you might’ve missed. Then we’ll pull them back together into a strategy that’s clearer, more creative, and built to hit home with your audience.
It’s not about filling a blank page for you. It’s about working with you and showing you how to think like a writer: asking sharper questions, finding the story underneath, and seeing your content in a way that makes it stronger long after the session ends.
"Liam has given me invaluable ideas and advice since I met him, and most importantly, helped me bring my idea to life. He understands your world and will help others to understand it too."
Hannah, The Life After
How The Writer’s Lens Works
A lens changes the way you see. Put light through it, and it refracts. It bends into new shapes, breaks into new tones and colours - it shows you details you’d never notice otherwise.
That’s what happens in these sessions.
We run your content and ideas through a writer’s lens, splitting them apart, examining them from different angles, and then bringing them back together into sharper focus.
Here’s what that means for you:
Refraction: You see possibilities you hadn’t spotted before, fresh directions that lead to new ideas.
Separation: Muddled messages and half-formed thoughts start to make sense as we pick apart what’s really important.
Recombination: Scattered ideas come back together as a clearer strategy. Something usable, distinctive, and ready to put into action.
The result isn’t just a tidier plan or a fixed piece of content. It’s perspective. You leave with the kind of clarity and creativity that only comes from looking at your work through a writer’s eyes.
Thinking like a writer
Writers don’t see content as a box to be ticked. We treat it like a puzzle. A curiosity. Every detail, every angle, every choice of word is a clue to what the bigger picture could be.
We notice patterns, details, loose threads, and half-formed ideas. We pull at them until they unravel and reveal the real story lying in wait underneath.
Then we get to work tidying things up. Reshaping those loose threads, deciding what to keep, what to lose, and how to arrange them so the story holds.
It’s a way of thinking that mixes curiosity with discipline: asking “what if?” while always steering towards “so what?”
That’s what makes the difference between filling space with words and creating something people actually want to read.
"I met with Liam to talk about my business, and what blew me away was his amazing ability to rephrase and reframe my ideas."

What to expect from a session
A Writer’s Lens session lasts 90 minutes and costs £150.
We’ll start by talking about where your head’s at and what you have in mind. From there, the session takes its shape from you - your ideas, your challenges, your goals.
My role is to hold up the lens. I’ll reflect your ideas back in new ways, ask questions that bring the bigger picture into better focus, and help you spot the angles you might not see on your own.
Together, we’ll shape those ideas into something you can use - whether that’s clearer copy, a plan for your content, or simply knowing what to do next.
The aim isn’t to hand you ready-made answers. It’s to help you see differently, so the answers fit you, your business, and your audience.

Who am I?
If we haven’t met before, I’m Liam - a creative content writer and copywriter with a background in creative writing, branding, and marketing.
Over the past 8 years I’ve been the journalist picking apart what makes a good story, the editor sharpening ideas until they land, and the person business owners call when they’ve got something worth saying but no clue how to say it.
I straddle two worlds: the creative one, where imagination, empathy, and storytelling live; and the strategic one, where structure, clarity, and marketing goals matter.
The Writer’s Lens is where those two worlds meet.
Most of my clients come to me mid-thought, stuck between the scribbles in their notebooks and the version they wish they could articulate (and that’s where I do my best work).
I listen between the lines. I hear the thing you didn’t quite say, the idea you almost dismissed, and help shape it into something that represents you at your best — while also steering you towards your goals.
Real conversations. Real direction. And support that makes it all feel doable.
